Resolution for 2025 and opportunity for the President to confirm origin of
501c6 non profit, mission, annual Resolution / Memorandum of
Understanding with Borough, Bradley Cinema membership in Alliance, and
Annual Plan/ Results during Public Comments.
Review on Annual Plan and progress on 5 Goals.
Membership goal of 280 will require 44 new members, given 90% renewal
rate. Current members 269. 16 new members as of 3/20 . Review of
strategies, including new community Brad Talks. The first Brad Talk is 4/22
with Christine Quinn.
Review of Small Business Success goal and focus on Boost Bradley Beach
and business promotion, with the help of Business Liaisons. Discussion on
disappointing news about Bradley Cinema not moving forward by Cinema
Lab and hopes of new options by building owner.
Review of Vibrant Main Street and focus on Main Street improvements with
Borough, off season and summer connection of Main Street to Beach and
Riley Park events. The first Main Street Stroll is Sunday April 27 .
Review of Community Connections goal and support of non profits. The
new Bradley Beach Days are 6/7-6/8 and will include 6/7 Food Pantry Pick
Up. The Borough has chosen to not move forward with 2025 Main Street
Markets, sponsored by Asbury Fresh.
Review of Organization and Mission Impact goal, with focus on
Communications and Budget/ Funding.
April 18 Board Meeting
Review of 2025 Plan and progress on Five Goals
Membership Goal review. Actual 270, with concerns on renewals.
Member recruiting strategies include one to one Resident asks, Young
Professionals Network , Apartments, Realtors, and Business outreach.
New Brad Talk launches on 4/22 with Christine Quinn as a community
event.
Small Business Success goal reviewed, including Boost Bradley Beach,
Business Liaisons.Discussion on Advocacy Policy, importance of remaining
neutral in fairness to all and recommendation to define Neutrality position
in Bylaws.
Vibrant Main Street goal reviewed with focus on new Main Street Stroll into
Spring on 4/27 with 24 businesses participating. The goal is to inspire visits
to businesses to experience their offerings.
Community Connections goal plans for 6/7-6/8 Bradley Beach Days and
specifically, Bradley Food Pantry Pick Up on 6/7.
Organization and Mission Goal reviewed , with announcement and sharing
of Monmouth County Tourism printing grant led by Christine Dickler ( Shop
Local Notepad, Join Us Rack Card and Shop Local Map). First quarter
financials reviewed and on target, with some sponsorship challenges.
May 16 Board Meeting
The Board discussed and approved revised Bylaws, adding a statement on
Advocacy Policy which establishes neutrality on member and Borough
ordinance issues, with the potential of gathering and sharing inputs from
members with Borough on proposed policies and initiatives.
The Board reviewed five goals for 2025:

Goal is 280. Actual 268, with renewal concerns. Strategies reviewed
including one to one asks and outreach to Realtors and Young
Professionals Network. Successful Brad Talk with Christine Quinn in April.
Discussion on next Brad Talk and New Member event at Tiki Bar.
Small Business Success
Review of Boost Bradley Beach promotion opportunities and how to
expand business participation. Discussion on Borough Business Town Hall
on 5/28, encouraged by BBBCA.
Vibrant Main Street
Update on Borough Main Street priority and plans.
Discussion on Main Street Stroll into Spring and impact. Will focus on
promotion (and use QR code for gift card drawing) in November.
Review of Borough summer plans to promote businesses with banner at
Riley Park and Promenade.
Discussion on movie theatre and desire for BBBCA to be proactive with
current owner, as well as potential partnership with MC Arts Council and
Count Basie nonprofits.
Community Connections and Resident Engagement
Review of June 7-8 Bradley Beach Days. Critical event on 6/7 for Bradley
Food Pantry Pick Up.
Mission and Organization Impact
Positive communications results on social media and stories in Coaster and
Coast Star. Suggestion to ask businesses to distribute BBBCA materials in
customer take out bags.
Review of 2025 financials and current positive status with a focus on
expense controls.
June 20 Board Meeting
The Board celebrated a strong month of programs and events. The Board
discussed highlights and results on five goals for 2025.
Membership Growth, Benefits, and Involvement
The Board reviewed current 270 members and 90% renewal rate plus
strategies for new members.
Small Business Success
The Board discussed Boost Bradley Beach plus success of new social
media strategy and weekly business spotlight.
Board agreed to plan next Business Networking in September with Grant or
AI focus. Borough Business Town Hall was held on May 28 and future town
halls planned.
Board discussed value of a Borough liaison on business operations issues.
Vibrant Main Street
Board reviewed Borough plan on $2M Main Street improvements and
future Strategic Task Force.
Board discussed summer plans to promote restaurants on promenade
food delivery and Riley Park during Borough events.
Board agreed to continue to pursue meeting with Bradley Cinema owner
and potential 301 Main Street window photo display.
Community Connections and Resident Engagement
Board reviewed success of 5/17 Tour de Bradley with 60 riders.
Board discussed results of June 7-8 Bradley Beach days, especially Food
Pantry Pick Up and Mini Golf Magic. Nearly 500 residents were engaged.
Board brainstormed ideas to assist PTA fundraising for 2026 8 th Grade Trip.
Board discussed new Teen Career program , led by Marci Rubin in
partnership with Library.

Board reviewed Communications success in press.
Board reviewed positive financial position and efforts to ensure breakeven.
July 18 Board Meeting
The Board reviewed the five 2025 Goals, and positive progress.
Membership Growth, Benefits and Involvement
Current membership is at 274 , with 90% renewal rate. The Board reviewed
strategies including successful new member event on 7/15 at UVA, future
Brad Talks and July Press Release on Membership.
Small Business Success
The Board reviewed July Boost Bradley Beach and positive weekly
member spotlights. Business Liaisons continue to make contact. Plan to
host Business Networking in the fall, potentially with the Borough, focused
on grants.
Vibrant Main Street
The Board discussed Main Street opportunities and plans for Borough Task
Force. The Board discussed summer outreach efforts for restaurants with
Borough banners at Riley Park/ Promenade and Beach food delivery
location flyer.
The Board discussed interest to meet with Bradley Cinema owner in hopes
of continuing to seek options for theatre.
Community Connections and Engagement
The Board reviewed new Teen Career program planned at Library for the
fall.
The Board wishes to pursue a Mini Golf tournament as a fundraiser for PTA
and BBES 8 th grade trip.
LocalSummer event planned for 9/7 and Holiday Giving Drive 11/15-12/15.

The Board reviewed Communications activities . Financial performance
discussed and positive outlook to break even in 2025.
Ongoing and positive partnership discussions continue with the Borough.
