Review of Progress on 2023 Goals
Discussion and action planning on Membership goal of 250.
Successful May 13 Market review ( 80 vendors) and future plans.
Review of June 10 Celebration plans – Flavors of Bradley- with 27 businesses
generously supporting.This joint Borough event is at 300 capacity.
Small Business Promotion and Shop Local Brochure discussed.
Discussion and decision to plan family holiday event in December.
Mayor Larry Fox attended to discuss Borough priorities and our partnership . Follow up action areas include Bikes on Main Street/ Safety , Main Street Planning , BBBCA Resident / Business Survey , Summer 2023 Plans and “Trolley”.
June 16, 2023
Review of status on 2023 Goals, including Membership goal of 250 . Discussion and evaluation of successful June 10 Flavors of Bradley Beach. 300 attendees, 27 BB businesses contributed, 3 local bands entertained. Positive feedback from attendees. 1500 volunteer hours by Committee. Recognition certificates delivered to businesses and Thank You Ad in 6/22 in Coaster .
Breakeven on budget of $12,500 ( Borough, Sponsors and $30 ticket sales) . Social media and resident criticism discussed related to access by more Residents, price of $30 and asks if businesses. It was agreed that we should have announced as joint with Borough and Public Event more strongly. We will use LocalSummer Event on 9/10 as next 130th Anniversary event!
Discussion on upcoming events, including Alliance Week. BBBCA Board will develop Strategic Plan by December 2023.

Review of positive progress on 2023 Plan.
Discussion on membership and recruiting. Currently 213-219 members , vs end of year 2022 of 195- a 10% growth. Renewals are ~ 90%.
Discussed membership campaign ideas to recruit new Resident members.
Review of new Pet Photo contest to engage Residents . Coaster is media sponsor and final judge of winners.
Presented revised Small Business Guide and new Local Jobs initiative with 13 business members. Cards are posted in multiple locations in Spanish and English for job seekers.
Discussion on success of Alliance Week, despite cancellations due to rain.
Review of upcoming September events, including town wide Local Summer On 9/10 at Brinley Beach.
Discussion on continued Borough Planning .
BBBCA Strategic Planning underway with survey development.
August 18,2023
Review of Strategic Planning process, mission statement and Survey .
Agreement to modify the Mission statement to reflect our focus areas .
Review of Alliance year to date financials, which are positive including slight
loss on the 6/10 130 th Anniversary Event.
Review of 2023 Goals and Progress.
Discussion of current Membership of 218 and campaign to recruit resident
Members, including flyers, social media, press coverage and events.
Pet photo contest very successful with 44 entries and over 10,000 social
views. Winners to be selected by The Coaster editorial staff by 8/31.
Review of efforts to support non profit members including First Aid Squad,
PTA.
Decision to contribute $100 and lunch donations for Bradley Beach
Elementary School SOLE program , reinforcing positive student behavior.
Discussion on upcoming events including 9/2-4 Art Exhibit, 9/14 Business
Member Only, 9/18 Social Members Only, 9/30 Dinner and Movie in the Park
.Planning for Wellness Weekend 10/21-22 underway, with many interested
businesses.
Holiday Giving Drive 11/1-12/5 , including 12/3 Market. Recipients will be BBES
and Food Pantry . Decision to host Holiday Member Weekend 12/16-17.
9/8 Strategic Planning meeting to be held with Board and Alliance Advisors.

Advisors and four individual BB Council members. Strategic Plan to be presented to Board for approval on 10/20.
Review of BBBCA events role and effort to create a 2024 BB Community Events calendar
Discussion on new initiative in 2024 to expand Boost Bradley Beach.
Review of Membership status of 221 and actions to ensure renewals and new Members to achieve 250 goal.
Review of successful September events and upcoming events in fourth quarter.

Review and approval of 2024 Plan , Budget and Funding. All Board members have provided inputs and reviews were held with each Borough Council Member and Mayor. Discussion on 2024 Communications and materials.
Priority is to increase visibility as well as business promotion.
Discussion on 2024 Board Role and Board nominations. No self nominations
received. Ballot in Tuesday BBBCA newsletter starting 12/26.
Review of 2023 Achievements. Majority of 2023 Plan objectives achieved ,
including financial goals and membership growth to 230 (15% growth) vs 250 stretch goal.
Review of Town Survey (175 Submissions). Review of plan to analyze and present recommendations to the Borough Governing Body on 1/24/24.
Discussion of January 20 Music Jam, fundraiser for Fire and First Aid.
Review of January 22 Annual Meeting.
